June/2012 – After being a stable member of the lab since 2006, we are delighted to see Charlie compete his studies after a successful PhD defense. Charlie has contributed to development of non-viral gene delivery approaches in our lab, pursuing in-depth studies on DNA complexes and their intracellular fate. His molecular biology skills served him well, brining a unique perspective to he field which is mostly driven by engineers. He helped us better design non-viral delivery systems and facilitate the research activities of his fellow labmates. We are confident that Charlie will continue to make an impact in the field as a result of his creative thinking.
