Dec/2018. Mahsa successfully passed her PhD candidacy exam and also had fun through the process! She had so much fun that we even contemplated the idea of re-doing the candidacy for her sake. PhD candidacy exams are meant to assess the preparation of a PhD candidate to undertake an advanced PhD program – Mahsa displayed a great attitude during the exam and engaged the committee fully to respond to the exam questions. Now she will be able to conduct the last set of critical studies without impediment to complete her PhD program in the Department of Hematology.
