August/2017. We are delighted to learn that Aysha has been recognised with the Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship. This is a prestigious award from the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research. The offer recognizes Aysha’s academic (great GPA) and scholarly (great research) achievement. Aysha has been designing functional particles to deliver specific siRNAs to treat cancers, in particular leukemias. Watch out for her great review on ‘delivering gene medicines to attachment-independent cells,’ to appear in J. Mat. Chem. B.
