May/2012 – We are delighted to learn that Basak secured a partial ($10,000) scholarship from Women’s and Children Health Research Institute (WCHRI) of U. of Alberta. Basak will pursue a project focused on childhood leukemias and lymphomas, attempting to develop a new therapeutic modality for their treatment. This is a great start for Basak and we look forward to her unique contributions to our research enterprise.
