December/2016 – Congratulations to Bindu Thapa. Bindu successfully passed her Ph.D. Candidacy Exam at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Bindu is conducting studies on siRNA and DNA delivery to breast cancer cells in order to curb the un-controlled growth of these cells in this deadly disease. She is developing a unique insight into non-viral delivery systems required in order to successfully use these gene-based therapies in breast cancer. We expect Bindu to continue her prolific studies and create novel delivery systems that we can translate to clinical realm. Congratulations again.
