Oct/2019. We are delighted with the decision of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (https://www.alexslemonade.org) to fund an Innovation Grant ($250,000US over 2 years) at the Uludag Lab. The project will explore an siRNA based therapy for one of the most frequent childhood cancers, acute lymphocytic leukemia. Dr. Joseph Brandwein (Professor, and Chair of Hematology at the U. of Alberta) and Dr. Xiaoyan Jiang (Professor, U. of British Columbia, and Principal Scientist, Terry Fox laboratories) will act as co-Investigators in this grant.
