September/2011 – Welcome to our new graduate students, Basak Sahin, Juliana Valencia Serna and Quynh Thai.  Basak, Juliana and Quynh were recruited for MSc studies in the Uludag Lab in September/2011. They posses a wide ranging backgrounds. Basak is a graduate of Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey) with a degree on  ‘Molecular Biology and Genetics’. Juliana graduated from Antioquia’s School of Engineering, CES University (Medellin, Columbia) with specialization in ‘Tissue Engineering’. Quynh graduated from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), focusing on ‘biomaterial science’. We expect them to provide a unique perspective to our research endovors in the coming years.
