November/2012 – Ahmad is visiting us from Universty of Kyoto (Japan) for a short-term research placement, where he will be conducting studies on bone regeneration in rats. Deniz will be enrolling in a PhD program in Biomedical Engineering (January/2013) with a focus on molecular dynamics simulations of siRNA polyplexes. Deniz will be co-supervised by Dr. Tian Tang at the Mechnical Engineering Department (U. of Alberta). We look forward to her contributions in the coming years on this exciting computational area.
