September/2017. Teo Atz Dick joined us from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) after completing his B.Sc and M.Sc. degrees in materials science and engineering. Teo spent a year at the University of Montpellier II, France, with scholarship from CAPES/BRAFITEC. Teo’s PhD studies will be fully funded by the Government of Brazil under the CAPES program. We are happy to act as a host for Teo’s PhD studies and hope to benefit from his experience with composite materials, biodegradable polymers and biomaterials., while he explores new ways of bone regeneration in his PhD thesis.
